The googly eyes on each wooden ornament got a genuine laugh out of my husband every single morning, which I did not expect from a countdown calendar. Twelve days is honestly the perfect length for us since we always fall behind on the full 24-day ones.
My kids fight over whose turn it is to hang the ornament each morning, and the googly eyes wobble the whole time they're carrying it to the tree. The wooden pieces feel sturdier than the flimsy cardboard calendars we've bought before, so this one might actually survive past December.
The googly eyes on each wooden ornament got a genuine laugh out of my husband, who usually couldn't care less about holiday decor. Twelve days felt like the right length too, not the month-long slog some advent calendars turn into.
